The Lady Lions finished the year 17-8, third place at Divisionals, and second in the District. This was their second straight year with a Divisional plaque.


Saturday 3rd place game

• Eureka 56, Anaconda 53: Jadyn Pluid had the hot hand with 19 points and Reena Truman added 10 for the Lions, who held off a fourth-quarter rally by the Copperheads to claim third place. Remmi Stanger added nine, and Jimena Sanchez and Ixone Coteron each scored eight for Eureka. Makena Patrick scored 13, Alyssa Peterson 12 and Sami Johnson nine for Anaconda.

Saturday morning loser-out game

• Eureka 55, St. Ignatius 42: Jadyn Pluid carried her team again with 22 points, and Remmi Stanger helped with 13 as the Lions pulled away from a three-point halftime margin to lead by 11 entering the final quarter in eliminating the Bulldogs. Ixone Coteron scored 10 for Eureka. Madyson Currie scored 15 and Kason Page 10 for Mission.

Friday

• Thompson Falls 36, Eureka 22: Ellie Baxter led with 13 points, and Maliyah LeCoure and Avery Burgess backed her with nine apiece as the Bluehawks held the Lions to single digits in all four quarters in their semifinal rout. Jadyn Pluid scored five to lead Eureka.


Thursday

• Eureka 49, Anaconda 29: Jadyn Pluid dominated with 23 points and Reena Truman added eight for the Lions, who had a surprisingly easy time with the Copperheads. Eureka led by two after one quarter but outscored Anaconda 17-4 over the next eight minutes. Sami Johnson scored 10 and Makena Patrick eight for the Copperheads.
